Boot from USB - without BIOS support
I've been trying to boot my 10 year old IBM thinkpad from an external USB drive.
I have already succeeded using Slackware, but I cannot get my network interface to work om it. It works with the Xubuntu 6.06 live CD so I installed it (using the alternative one).
In Slackware I used a CD to boot the kernel and load the necessary modules, but now I can't get it to work.
Then I used this guide and now I tried doing something similar, with no success.
Anyone know a guide or something that will get me om the right path?
