Toshiba U400, No networking

Hello! I'm -recently- using Ubuntu 8.04.1 on Toshiba U400-10N.

I cannot use any lan or wireless connections, meaning: no detecting. But at the same time, I have Windows® Vista® Home Premium Edition that works very well with these connections, with no changes, I mean no turning on any switcher or anything else.

BTW, I may use un-free drivers, it is better than still without lan connections.

OK, sorry. Wireless connection is working well now. But no wire one.

I just bought the same laptop and still have problems with my wireless; it's not working.

I'm currently using a USB wireless that works fine, but of course want to use the one that's already in my computer.

Any help is appreciated.
