I'm going to be moving in a months time, and as a result my htpc and main computer which I prepare my media on are woging to be on different floors (one downstairs, one up). As it;s a student house, I can't really start drilling holes everywhere to feed my wired network through, and so I was wondering if it would be possible for anyone to advise me on a wireless solution. As I will be moving large files about, I assume draft n would be preferable, but I have also read that ubuntu does not support draft n speeds (is this still the case). I was wondering if anyone could suggest either a solution that works for them (with the least hassle, as I already have to recompile too many things after each kernel upgrade. he he). A draft n card and router combo that operates at draft n speeds in ubuntu would be preferable, but any other suggestions would also be very valuable.
