    Dual-Monitors not behaving

I have a dual-monitor setup that is not behaving optimally. The screens are acting like a single ultra-wide monitor. I would rather have them act like two workspaces than one wide one. Any ideas? I have a dual-head Matrox video card.

You are probably in xinerama or bigdesktop mode and you want clone or something like that. I have an ati video card and drivers so am not really up on how to configure with other drivers but it is probably something you can change in your xorg.conf.

NOTE: do not change xorg.conf unless you are absolutely sure what you are doing.
There is a dual display how to wiki around somewhere, look for that.

Cloned displays is the last thing I want. I just want each screen to be a separate workstation.
