I installed Ubuntu 8.04 I have Creative Sound Blaster Live 24Bit Connected through USB to the Laptop.
I went to sound prefs and set everything for USB Audio. Everything works fine, but the keyboard shortcut to increase and decrease the sound level. It doesnt affect the sound level at all (Even muting). Personally I think it has to deal with something in the sound prefs under default mixer tracks.

Ps. I googled this already but I dont see anyone having this problem, usually it doesnt work at all but mines works so I thought I had a good reason to post.
