    Wonderful! A great and easy explanation on getting your wireless card up and running.

    All I did different was copy the *.inf file from the driver CD that came along with my Rangebooster 650 N card and chose that one instead. It worked perfectly!

    Just as a side note, this won't work for everybody, ndiswrapper takes the windows drivers and translates them into drivers linux can understand, some drivers don't work with it and some cards already have linux drivers, so try to find those before using this

    Where I ubuntu did you copy the (inf) file to.
    I am learning to use ubuntu and I have a 650 N Card I need all the help.

    Thanks a lot everyboby,it's more than a week I used these instruction and these packages via Synaptic to get in a stable way my LAN card to function.
    Only I forgot where I found the suggestions and today I found them again.
