    [7.10] Xsane gives Segmentation fault (core dumped)

    Right when I start xsane on Ubuntu 7.10, the Scanning for devices... windows pops up for 2 seconds, exits, shows "Segmentation fault (core dumped)" in terminal, then ends. I can print to my printer. It is an HP PhotoSmart C6200.

    It used to work earlier, I have only installed OSS since then. I even uninstalled OSS, still broken.
