Re: How do you wake a desktop computer from suspend?

I have always had depress the power button slightly to awaken my desktop computer. For an unknown reason the mouse and keyboard have never worked to awaken the computer with Ubuntu installations, but do so on the Windows partition . I also run a Nvidia card and drivers default or otherwise have never made a difference. I have never tried to set up a key binding because the case/tower is easily reached . In my case, the entire system remains in suspend not just the monitor.

Re: How do you wake a desktop computer from suspend?

My system works as it should: any key press or mouse click will awaken the system. I suspect you're looking at a hardware problem that doesn't sound particularly easy to track down.

Mine won't work on just any key - requires Enter. Try the Enter after the power switch.
