Network Printer does not print from FireFox after 12.04 upgrade

We use a Kyrocera TaskALFA 3050ci here at work.

After the upgrade, I installed the drivers from the DVD that came with the printer. I also checked the website for a newer version, but the one on the disk was current.

The add printer found the printer with no problem, and added it as default. It prints test pages and test files from gEDIT with no problem. Where I have the trouble is printing from FireFox, which I need to do on a daily basis.

When I try to print from FireFox, the status in the print que says "Printer not connected?" When it is.

It is a network printer on 192.168.0.192 and worked beautifully before the upgrade.

Is there anything I can check?

Same issue for me for a Samsung network printer (but I did not upgrade my Ubuntu - it's a fresh 12.04 installation). Evince also does print fine, Printing attempt from Firefox does nothing.

So far I could not find any launchpad bug fitting this behaviour.

Oh, btw: My status message is a little different: It says no toner left in my case (although other applications do print well).
