Can you update through tor?

My school recently made some changes to their network and I can no longer connect to the update server. I was wondering if I could configure it to run through tor? I have tor installed already and am using vidalia to manage it.

sbecze, you school may well have blocked Ubuntu updates for a reason - a good time to ask rather than attempt to subvert their wishes? Some may consider it bad manners to use tor for what could be large Ubuntu updates.
