Kernel won't load
I'm trying to install/use Ubuntu for the first time. I downloaded the mini-.iso, burned to a DVD, and booted from said DVD. The install ran with no apparent issues. After restarting, at the yaboot login, I type "Linux" and get a solid white, sometimes 2/3 white, 1/3 black screen. I can't seem to get around that. If I type anything else at the yaboot prompt I get this message:
"/pci@f2000000/mac-io@17/ata-4@1f000/@0:3,(anything I type): No such file or directory"
My computer is: http://www.everymac.com/systems/appl...ac_800_fp.html
Ubuntu Iso is: http://ftp.fi.debian.org/ubuntu-dvd/12.04/release/
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
