Question 11.10, Problem With Sharing Internet Over Wifi

    Hello,

I am connected to Internet via WiFi and I want to use the same wireless interface to share it using Adhoc network or whatever can do that.

I've been searching about it and have found that it's possible in Windows with Connectify but I couldn't find anything to do the same in Linux.

How come it's not possible to do this in Linux?

    Thanks for any suggestion.

    Code:

Its physically impossible to use the same wifi card to receive and to share at the same time. You can share your wifi connection through your ethernet one, or your ethernet through your wifi.

The software you quoted creates an ad-hoc network to share a LAN (ethernet conection) or a 3g.

With kubuntu its pretty easy (same way that ubuntu)

Just create a new adhoc network, and in IPV settings, chose "Share".

    Excuse me for my english.

    Dear samigina,

I appreciate the time and effort you have put to answer my question, but I was looking for way to use the same WiFi card to receive and share at the same time.

    anyway, thank you
