I use Gnome 3 in Ubuntu 11.10--not with Unity. For some reason, a garbled view of the file, edit, view, etc buttons (and a sort of separate looking bar or panel that is white) are appearing underneath the Gnome 3 panel. This has never happened before, and I have no idea why it's doing this. I can only see it when I'm using shell themes (from any source) that are translucent, and it disappears when I go into the overview. (screen shot attached) I did just update my computer. Does anybody know what the solution is? Help!
