installing 32 bit libs in chroot on 64 bit os
I'm just curious as to whether or not there's an easier way to do this.
I've spent the past few days manually downloading and installing 32 bit libraries in a chroot jail so I can run PCSX2 (I'm on 64 bit natty). I've been literally one-by-one downloading debs and installing with dpkg. Consistently they reveal lists of dependencies sending me back to the repositories. Those dependencies reveal more dependencies. I've made a lot of progress (I think it's just a matter of working on xnest now), but I kind of wish apt-get would just install the i386 versions, from older distros if necessary. Or maybe it will?- I'm too scared to try. I've come so far.
I'm hoping this is just noob behavior on my part and there's an obvious easier way... is there?
