    Probably something like Arch. With modifications, Arch can boot up really fast.

    If Arch is too advanced, I would recommend something with a light DE (so login time is small).
    For this, I would recommend #!.

    Instant On also means automatic login basically so you can immediately start doing what you desire. Though, Windows is getting so fast, they're starting to make it so you cannot not have a password. (Originally, Windows would auto-login if you didn't supply a password.)

    The Windows 8 Developer Preview lets you have no password but makes you click your account before you get to the desktop.
