    Banshee Quality

With Banshee, I am easily able to put music onto my iPod and have it convert my FLAC to something that the iPod can read. But is there a way to control the quality of the conversion. I don't really want my FLAC to go down to like 192kbps. Are there any settings that I am missing or any files that could be edited to make this happen?

FLAC is lossless.........there is no degradation in quality, only different file size compression levels.

I'm not sure what you mean.

Did you forget to read the question? The iPod cannot use flac, so banshee converts it. The resultant file is lossy, so I want to change the quality of the resulting file to something less lossy.

Have you looked at a program called soundconvertor.
I'm not sure but I think you can convert flac to 320kbps in mp3.

I know that I can use different applications to convert the files manually myself, but I just want to change the configuration inside of banshee so that when banshee is transferring to the iPod, it will do a different bitrate.
