AHHH! user and groups

I posted a thread a little while ago and i'm completely frustrated.

I cannot use the button in users and groups

and my profile disappeared


at least call me stupid, instead of ignoring me

is this normal

With that said, what do you mean by "can't use the button" - there are several buttons in "Users and Groups".

i have finals tomorrow and need to crash...

when i press any button in that menu except manage groups nothing happens

i cant take myself out of the audio group

If I understand things right, when you take yourself out of the audio group, you will lose access to having sounds/music come out of your speakers (for the user you take out of audio, that is).

you should not be in the audio group

My user shows up in the audio group as well - and so do others when they perform the fgrep command... so I don't know if that documentation is exactly right or not.

Did you put yourself in the audio group?

When you are logged in, you automatically get put into there for the duration of your session.
