    Some systems only open the additional settings if you set a UEFI password.
    But never lose that password or reset to blank when done, or else you may brick system.

    Most UEFI with Secure boot on do not allow USB boot. As that is then a security issue.
    Again if UEFI updated it reverts to defaults. So you probably have to go into UEFI and turn on full USB support...

    From grub menu use commands to get to grub's terminal and run this. Grub may not see same video as system.

    The dd only works for hybrid DVD/flash drive ISO. No Windows ISO is a hybrid.

    If you just installed grub to Windows drive, you should be able to just reinstall a Windows boot loader to Windows...

    You go into UEFI settings, usually with Dell it is f2, boot options are f12 to choose to boot USB flash drive.
    With Dell you need fast boot off as that assumes no system changes and drive settings...

    Or a reinstall of grub will also add it.

    You only need mmx64.efi, to set your own key to install proprietary drivers when UEFI Secure Boot is on.
    Ubuntu cannot verify that a proprietary driver is certified, but a user can if he believes it...
