One day, though- folks, one day... and all will be well with the Linux community.
I use Mandriva inside of Virtualbox, and I agree with you, although my preference is Ubuntu. It is a really nice distro, though, you are right.

Whether it be getting Samba to talk with your other computers, setting up a Fedora...
Great game, and fantastic background noise, I think. :)
I personally like your retort. I used to be one of those people who wanted everything laid out in front of me. Now, I only ask for mega help if I've exhausted every source I can possibly think of...

I concur with your assessment. Linux is what it is because of real developers wanting what is best for the O/S, not just their wallets. We have the BEST marketing- word of mouth, proven success, and...
Amen and Amen!! I graduated in December with my CS degree, and since then, I am apparently "tech support" for many people. I think I may start charging one six pack of GOOD beer for every "service...

I teach. I have to think on my feet and make sure my kids are actually learning something instead of memorizing crap. Does that count toward actual thinking? :)
Nope, just slapping 'em on computers at school. They peel easily so no "sticker damage" is done.
