Great, I can't wait to hear how it goes!
My GazP6 appears to have two? One is in use by the wireless card, and the other (seemingly identical) slot is empty. Am I missing something?
...This is also something I have been interested in,...
Yes, the bag that automagically comes in the box.
...I've had my GazP6 since July.
Also, my battery falls out as well...
(Bag broke within 48 hours of owning the laptop.)
I would love to see a detailed response from a System76 rep, I'm pretty curious myself - but this is what I see offhand.
BIOS:
System76 Branded splash screen. I also believe some configuration...
I do not believe that the Gazelles are capable of supporting more than one external display. Though the graphics card may support it, laptops generally only have one "media changer" to translate the...
Yes, I can vouch for System76 here.
I have a GazP6, which is clearly a Clevo P150HMX, "fulfilled" through Sager Notebook.
That said, there are some key fundamental hardware & software...
I second that motion, I have had the exact same problem.
If you insist on shipping that "sub-par" bag with your nice laptops, at least warn us not to use it!
My GazP6 appears to be a Clevo P150HMx from Sager Notebook. Perhaps that will point your search in the right direction?
Screenshot attached.
I have had the same problem with my GazP6 since I installed 11.10 in November.
Just FYI,
I have a System76 GazP6 that is used as a DAW in live environments. I primarily use Native Instrumnts USB 2.0 interfaces, they work (and sound) great!
Hopefully this helps?...
Well, if nobody else is going to jump on it:
I'm the Media director at a scout camp in northeast PA (Resica Falls Scout Reservation), and we are always looking for parts to use while teaching...
There aren't even enough results on either to use trends:

...Sigh, I was really...
Hmm, I use twinview. I wonder if that is the issue...
It is an optical audio output jack (S/PDIF).

You will need to use the nvidia-settings GUI, but there have been some issues with that since the upgrade.
I found & posted a workaround here:

...
I have the same problem.
Haha, same.
I've found a workaround that allows one to make use of their second monitor on Ubuntu 11.10.
After completing a fresh install of 11.10 from CD, I found myself unable to successfully apply new...
You are likely on the right track.
Take a look back where you were and see if you have anything related to "identify monitors/outputs/etc." enabled.
There are a lot of us having dual monitor / GDM issues in general. You are by no means alone, but unfortunately nobody seems to have a answer either. Keep an eye on the other threads, hopefully we...
Yeah, the feature is only really useful if you are security paranoid. (Like me...)
I HAVE A WORKAROUND!

I often run into strange issues when using live flash drives. Generally installing Ubuntu on the flash drive again solves the problem. If not, try using an external optical drive (if possible.)
