I''d really love to help with it. If I could help, I definitely would. I know that doesn't mean much, though. Sorry I can't help any.
I should be there, too (99% sure that I will).
Welcome. Yeah, it can be tough to completely break away from Windows. It will take some time, but I'm sure you can do it.
I won't, but that's only because I already have a laptop (which I was actually very lucky to get in the first place). I hope they can sell a lot of those, though.
I've got a Dell Latitude D520 (N series) which came with no operating system on it. I liked that idea, but I like it even more now that Dell is going to have computers with Ubuntu on them.
Oh, by...
I started sometime in July of 2005 with Fedora Core, so nearly 2 years for me.
I hadn't planned on upgrading to Feisty so soon, but because of my new laptop, I got the beta earlier this week. I really like it, so I'll stick with it.
That's great news! Makes me kinda excited, really. I'm really happy to know that we are now approved!

In my classes, anytime we are in a room full of computers, I always have to help someone. I have to help my teachers and the other people in the class. It may be for simple problems, or even harder...
I also think it would be better to have them both separate.
I have hated Windows for quite some time now. It just was becoming so annoying to work with. Not to mention it seemed to screw up everyone's accounts on it. Now, the stupid thing won't even...
Mostly just for the Internet, but the reason I can't ditch Windows is a little more complicated than that. I'd probably need an entire topic (although, I've talked about it before in IRC, so I know...
To those who have ditched Windows, you're lucky...I wish I could get rid of Windows. However, my dad and step mom still use it (though, with how it's been acting lately, they may allow me to remove...
Not sure if it will help you or not (I don't know the port number), but try changing the server to irc.freenode.net.
That's very scary. I think I'll only allow Wine to access my fake C: folder...
Although, I normally only use Wine to run certain programs. I've barely used Wine since I installed it. That is very...
I have been learning a little C++, but I don't remember the sites I started learning it on...(which it only provided basic examples, anyway). When I first started with PHP, I went to the PHP MySQL...
Heh, my first post here and it's in the Kentucky forum..and there are many more Ubuntu users than what I would have thought from Kentucky. Maybe I think that because of the county I live...
