    No, if I do it in a terminal it's working.
    I also tried: pcmanfm smb://192.168.1.4/harddisk
    and that's also working.

    EDIT: Only thing that's not working is connecting to my share on my xbmc...

    Also take a look in your BIOS, there you can select what hard drive is your first drive that will boot. It's possible that your BIOS selected something else to start off.

    All operations successful. After gparted-live finished I did a reboot and it loaded ubuntu without a problem. Then I did update-grub.

    Well I started it, I booted from gparted-live and did the things you said. But it will take some time.
