solved - problem seems to be associated with ntop daemon, no idea when or why i have installed that, and no idea why it causes this. :cool:

maybe try rkward + R. it can load data into table and then edit it, and runs definitely faster than oo. but its not very user friendly compared to oo.

i have exactly the same problem (dual mon and left scr.), my guess is that its caused by my ati x1400 drivers, but i cant replicate it on demand and i have no idea what causes it.

i dont know if it helps, but try to run systemsettings (default shortcut should be alt+f2 ?) and then using alt + mouse move the windows so you can see display button and set proper resolution there.
