    You should key the following command on the terminal :

    sudo lshw

    It asks for your password.

    Then, copy and paste the results here.

    I upgraded from 8.10 to 9.04. I replaced the 2 x 512 MB RAM with 2 x 1024 MB since the 8.10 version. Booting from HD.

    Maybe reinstalling 9.04 might troubleshoot this, I think. I'll perform a disk...
