When there is an embedded video from someplace like YouTube on a thread.

^ and you can indeed change your xorg.conf settings with nvidia. I've done it.
you can still make changes to your xorg.conf file.
gksudo gedit /etc/X11/xorg.conf
then paste this

oh nevermind! I didn't see the very last line. I put a # in front of it and it's now working.
