    I take it you are using the GUI netwrok interface to connect?

    You could try making a script..



    $ gedit netwrok_script


    Now copy and paste this in (changing the peramaters)

    Hey there try..



    sudo su -
    cfidsk /dev/sdb


    Then use the cfdisk program to delete all partitions, then make a new partition out of all the free space, with the vfat or fat32 format.

    Possibly, you would have to compile the kernel with both intel and ATI support.

    Then boot into your system with just your monitor plugged into your nvidia card, run "nviida-xconfg", and then save...

    Been 1 year this month since Arch has been installed on my desktop machine, still loving it + openbox, written 2000 odd lines of code this week, and this setup has got me through it, hope you like :)...

    Sure they are more "script" based than C, but you have just started programming and you are getting slightly ahead of yourself with making applications etc.

    Why not try Ruby or Perl ?

    How about we create loads of different scripts, so a script that runs and executes loads of commands.

    Ideas..

    Setup nvidia drivers and xorg.conf file
    Setup ati drivers and xorg.conf file...
