Is there such an app for Xubuntu? Hoping to find something for usage tracking in order to track how efficient assistive alternatives are for me.
I recall this once worked on earlier Ubuntu versions (before Pulse Audio), but does not work for me now. Blueman Applet shows the headset service is connected, but still no sign of it from the Sound...
Is there such a thing? If so how does one do it? If not are there alternatives similar to Windows 7's magnifier?

I too can't run it even after installing the mentioned dependency DLL's. It bombs with "Program Error" and "The program MISE.exe has encountered a serious problem...".

Xubuntu does not appear to have the recommended folder: "~/.gnome2/rhythmbox/plugins". Creating it and extracting there does not seem to work with Xubuntu 12.04.
Looking for a way to study how I'm using keyboard and mouse to optimize my flow and reduce RSI. Objo's UsageStats from https://usagestats.codeplex.com/ looks interesting, but it fails in Wine and...

I had this working after much fiddling from a Win7 client, but now I can cannot reproduce success with Xubuntu 12.10 (client) to Xubuntu 12.04 (server).
Tried using Unix, XDM but to no avail....
After a minimal install and apt-get installing the MATE desktop package I noticed that PulseAudio has only a Dummy device. Any ideas?
EDIT: Audio device is Intel 82801H
Apparently the video card is not being handled properly. It is a Compaq 6710b with Intel GM965.
Ran into this as well, but it worked *before* installing a desktop environment. Strangely though it was blank until I pressed Ctrl + Alt + F1, F2, F3, etc. (F7?).
After desktop install the blank...

Anyone know of a way to auto-raise a terminal window when it has activity in XFCE? I follow logs and all the mousing and alt-tabbing is wearing on my fingers.
Recently I noticed that tab-completion of folder names in Gnome-terminal (with Bash) no longer includes the trailing slash for most of my folders. Instead a trailing space is appended. This adds 2...
This doesn't seem to work with Ubuntu 12.04. Anyone know how to do it?
Indeed. And removing "obscure" from PAM's requirements appears to work. Sadly it also breaks unlocking my screen saver.
Ignoring is easier said than done. It also reduces the usefulness of the tool.
Now that I've removed the "obscure" requirement from PAM and changed my password with "passwd" I can not unlock my screen saver.
Changing to Gnome-screensaver does not help. Changing back to my...
