This morning wine update from the ppa seems to have made a difference. I just uploaded about 40 songs at almost 700k up before it froze and I had to restart it. A big improvement from yesterday.

It keeps freezing on me. I have to stop it and restart it, but it is working. About 40 songs uploaded so far.

I can confirm that it hangs on .wma files. (I know, embarrassing, but I've got them from before I converted to Ubuntu.) .mp3 files are uploading fine for me.

Does anyone know if Google's music manager will follow sym links?
