So at this point, I will see if the problem recurs and try to track down more information. I will also run memtest on my system later tonight.
The Errors that I'm finding so far in my logs are these (Note this is just a few of each error, edited down )

I am interested in bug fixes to the ALSA driver that were added to the v3.9 kernel. I don't find a 3.9 kernel in the ubuntu mainline kernel directory for 12.04 (precise). This article,...

Somehow I was led to believe that the...
After you get the language screen and confirm that, you need to hit f6 and bring up the boot options menu and select nomodeset as a boot option.
I'm surprised you get as far as the language...
I don't see any of the SATA drivers that are on the kernel.org website loaded on your system. I'm sure there's a driver loaded, I just don't recognize it.
My understanding is that there is a...
The lspci identifies the chipset correctly. Thank you. For the driver, you could try "lsmod | grep -i ahci". If that doesn't produce anything, you could post the output from lsmod and I could...
Can anyone running Ubuntu on an M6500 confirm which SATA driver is loaded? Is it AHCI? Does the driver or lspci tell you what the chipset is?
Thanks,
Nataraj
Is it still the case that reboot does not work on the 2010 Mac Mini as documented here https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Macmini4-1/Lucid#Reboot? If so, can somebody who has one, please file a bug...
Someone posted this in another thread. If you search you can probably find more details. I haven't tried it yet.
