    That was not totally useless, though on Windows 7 it was under the Security tab:


    Open folder properties.
    Click on Security tab.
    Click on Advanced button.
    Highlight appropriate user...

    I see; I was afraid it might be on the Windows side of the equation.

    The sudo-ed line above does nothing more than a non-sudo-ed command.
