I don't have chromium, using just firefox. for me the mouse continue stop moving after about 5 seconds of non-use and restart with a click to stop again after 5 seconds of non-use.

Xubuntu is not Ubuntu, also Lubuntu seems immune.
On Ubuntu 21.04 I installed last kernel from mainline ppa and the problem does not disappear.

To have Size and Dowload columns you must go to Settings > Preferences > Colums-and-fonts and select the colums.
