i did all you asked but it doesnt work for me.
it says converting but then the folder output is empty.
is there something relating to it i need to install?

neither of these two work for me.
the first method cant find the the file.
the second it says :

mount: wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on /dev/hda7,
missing codepage or other...

the command find /boot/grub/stage1 doesnt find anything.
also cant do the sudo mount -t ext3 /dev/sda6 /mnt/root says no such device sda6. where do i go from here?
