I'm having a hard time trying to find drivers for this wireless card. I'm running xubuntu 12.04
Does anyone know where I can find drivers for this card, or is it not supported?
Yeah if something like this becomes too much of a hassle I just have to go with Windows, gotta get work done some how.
Thanks for your responses.
Is there any advice you could give me for installing visual basic 6 in xubuntu then?
I am following the simple little guide on WineHQ for trying to install.
http://appdb.winehq.org/appview.php?versionId=130
I get about as far as installing Dcom98 until I run into all sorts of...
Hello, I'm using Xubuntu 12.04 and installed my drivers, but when I try to open CCC to adjust my overscan, nothing happens.
gksudo amdcccle
This is what I type, but still nothing comes up.
When I used XP on this laptop I had no problem playing more modern games on this chip, had some lag at higher graphic settings, but drivers weren't an issue.
But that was Windows, not Linux
Still get the same error.
Well, when I try to play a steam game in linux, I get this error:
Could not find required OpenGL entry point 'glColorMaskIndexedEXT'! Either your video card is unsupported, or your OpenGL driver...
Thank you for getting me in the right place.
Under Xubuntu 12.04, I'm trying to figure out how to install video drivers for my T60
I believe it uses the Radeon x1400 chip.
Thank you.
I edited the file, restarted, and tried starting mpd, get this still:
controll@Controll:~$ sudo service mpd restart
[sudo] password for controll:
* Stopping Music Player Daemon mpd ...
Alright, I stopped it successfully, then put in
sudo service mpd restart and keep getting the same old error
* Stopping Music Player Daemon mpd [ OK ] ...
controll@Controll:~$ killall mpd
mpd: no process found
controll@Controll:~$ mpd
listen: bind to '0.0.0.0:6600' failed: Address already in use (continuing anyway, because binding to '[::]:6600'...
controll@Controll:~$ sudo service mpd start
* Starting Music Player Daemon mpd listen: bind to '0.0.0.0:6600' failed: Address already in use...
controll@Controll:~$ mpd
Failed to bind to '[::]:6600': Address already in use
controll@Controll:~$
I am running it under "me," yes.
Thanks. Alright I went through and edited the .conf by putting the # before bind_to_address, restarting mpd, then tried running mpd and got the same error as before: mpd failed to bind to '6600'
I'm pretty new so I'm not exactly sure what you wanted me to do here... I just tried typing the code you gave me into the terminal :p but nothing happened.
bind_to_address "localhost"
#bind_to_address "/var/run/mpd/socket"
Every time I try to run mpd via terminal, I always get: mpd failed to bind to '6600'
I've only been able to find solutions using Archlinux.
Please help a newbie out? Thanks.
Yeah I just figured out it isn't an Appearance theme, if that makes any sense.
I moved the xfwm4 folder back to axis and checked Windows Manager and there it was.
Thanks for the help.
I've done this, even moved the subfolder xfwm4 out into /usr/share/themes, and still it doesn't show up under Appearance in Settings Manager.

Any other help here?
There is only an xfwm4 subdirectory.
