I do use i3 and similar and mouse freeze is present so I suspect that the reason for that is somewhere else. Due to very different kernels used, it is not in a kernel either. Got used to that... ;)...

5.10.0-051000rc5drmtip20201128 is the first in this series that boots and it does it very nice.

Still no bootable drm-tip... ;)

All 5.10s (I guess Your “5.3„ is just typo) are fine here too, just drmtip from mainline is still obstructive... No retreat...
