I think this is a straight one, i have a test laptop with 3gb RAM and i decided to put Karmic X64 on it special because i want to use VMWARE Work. and 64 bits OS.

It's a minimal install...

I have one as well and to solve my problem i have installed by synaptic bcmwl-kernelsource package, restart and everything working.
