Re: Which of my laptops is better for gaming?

Thanks Gnobody. Since I haven't played games for a while, I don't think I'll be too picky. Meaning I don't mind choosing from only the (now many) games that can be played on Linux on laptops. I care...

Re: Which of my laptops is better for gaming?

OK, well I will try them both out once I learn more about which driver to use with the NVIDIA. The system76 has a bigger screen so it would be nice to use that.

Re: Which of my laptops is better for gaming?

Good to know. Wikipedia says (when comparing Haswell to Ivy Bridge) "Up to double the performance of the integrated GPU." Cool!

    Thanks for the advice!

    [ubuntu] Re: Affordable Ubuntu laptop?

+1. Customer service is great. When I was searching for a laptop and compared ones *with similar specs*, I found that they were about the same price. I'm not sure how it is now.

[ubuntu] Re: testing if badRAM was successful

I would like to use memtester as a way of testing whether badRAM is working (or rather, if *I* set badRAM correctly). If it's working, the memory shouldn't be accessible by memtester, right? I ran...
