when you boot up your laptop it should say press escape or F8 in most cases, then you go to the BIOS menu and tell it to boot from the cd/dvd.

hello, i would recommend doing a full install of ubuntu and not use wubi as a full time thing. wubi is meant to be used to test different things about ubuntu.
