After seeing this I thought I'd give it a go as well as I also did not accept the EULA on a netbook I purchased a little under 2 weeks ago.
I have emailed them so shall patiently await their reply.
Although I couldn't find a hash table implementation within the kernel this thread can be ignored now as I found uthash which does what I need quite nicely.
Hi all,
Is there a generic hash table for use in the kernel (or a module for that matter). I am looking for something similar to the hcreate(), hsearch(), and hdestroy() family of functions that...
Were there any error messages etc? If so post them and it might be easier to try and troubleshoot the problem. Nice to see your networks are all running IPv6 though.
Well the only nm-applet I can run is version 0.6.5 and it seems to be missing alot of the stuff you are talking about. You are still talking about trying to add a device for the default route though...
Hmm, never mind I think I am being stupid...
Do you know what the name of the GUI is that you are using (sorry I don't use gnome but if you can tell me the name of the gui program I can probably...
Do you get a static IP address when you connect to your VPN on the tun0 device?
Not sure off the top of my head how to make this a permanent route. I will have a think about it.
One thing I did notice though is that the 'junk' route you are adding is most definately junk as...
I have flashed wrt54g's multiple time with the like of openwrt and it is a fairly simple process, you can just use the routers web interface to select the dd-wrt image and it sorts itself out...
type the following in a terminal to restart the networking using those settings :
sudo /etc/init.d/networking restart
That should reload it all for you
You need to include a stanza in /etc/network/interfaces to tell it what ip address to use for DNS lookups, this will either be your router IP or the address of a DNS server supplies to you by your...
So you have access to the Internet then, you are just not able to resolve DNS names. Have you set a DNS server address in /etc/resolv.conf, or in network-admin ?
What happens when you go to a terminal and type :
ping 74.125.77.103
Paste the output in here
I use netgear ma301 pci network cards in all my machines and they work well.
Hi,
This page might help you out with regards to what tagging means when dealing with vlans.

Read through that and it...
Unfortunately that may be the best way, although if you have a bit of cash you could buy an old wrt54g for cheap and flash it with linux. That way you always have the new one to fall back to should...
Without using that you would have to either install something on to your router that would monitors all the traffic going through the WAN port (such as bwlog which still won't run on the official...
That would depend how adventurous you are :)
I have a wrt54g at home but it is flashed with OpenWRT (a version of linux). It still acts as my wireless router but I can do a lot mroe with it such...
You can install wireshark through apt or synaptic. This is a nice gui based packet sniffer, or i believe tcpdump is installed by default but I could be wrong about that, if it isn't it can be...
I have never used blackbox per se but I use fluxbox. Presumably the menu system is fairly similar in which case you can just right click on the desktop and go to Applications->System->Network Admin....
It is perfectly acceptable to use the same IP in all your OS's in that situation.
you should be able to edit the file '/etc/network/interfaces' and remove the line 'iface eth0 inet dhcp'
I usually just go to network-admin and disable my wireless connection or do what I stated above. Unfortunately the network that received a DHCP reply most recently will take priority as the default...
You need to forward the SSH and FTP (22 and 21) ports on the Internet connected router on your network to the internal PC running the servers.
www.portforward.com should tell you how to do this...
