In a terminal, check the output of

    lsb_release -a
The Description should show as 18.04.4 on a fully up-to-date 18.04 release.

    Re: Ubuntu Mirror Issues

    What does

    apt policy libodbc1
    show?
There is no version 2.3.7 in any Ubuntu archive so not sure where it's coming from.
The above output should show something.

There was a discussion over at discourse on this:

I think it should still apply to Kubuntu...
  8. Re: Software updater apparently no longer works for Lubuntu 18.04.3 LTS

If you try clicking on Remind Me Later,
then go and try opening Software Updater anew,
does it open up directly to the same window or does it start by running a check first?
  9. Re: Software updater apparently no longer works for Lubuntu 18.04.3 LTS

PPAs are listed in a separate directory /etc/apt/sources.list.d/

    Re: pcsx2 missing dependencies

    Thread moved to Emulators

It looks like the ppa for bionic https://launchpad.net/~pcsx2-team/+archive/ubuntu/pcsx2-daily
failed to build, so it produced no pcsx2-unstable package.
  12. Re: Question regarding "Custom Hot Corners" and concept of "pressure"

This isn't something that ships with Ubuntu, so you'd have to ask the developers about that:

    Re: Updates for Cinnamon Desktop?

    No idea.
If using the default Ubuntu archives then it's maintained by the Debian Cinnamon Team.
But that doesn't mean that the remix team isn't part of that Debian Team.

    Re: Updates for Cinnamon Desktop?

    Cinnamon from what?
    Ubuntu?
    Linux Mint?

As far as I can tell, Cinnamon on Ubuntu is more or less an unsupported package pulled from upstream Debian, as is.

  24. [SOLVED] Re: help going more in depth to SDDM theme : where to turn?

sddm, as with most (if not all) display managers, is rather desktop session agnostic.
