Then on the next reboot the 'tty1' will bleed into X ('tty7').

By bleed I mean that terminal output hapening in 'tty1' will also be somewhat visible...

Before Windows 7 beta came out last year on February I was using linux exclusively for about 4years. Then I switched entirely to Win 7. Since it delivers the best from WinXP and Linux, IMHO....
