It's ok. We've just pushed an update to automatically remove bindwood in any case
I think you misunderstood my question. Do you have the Addon Compatibility Reporter addon installed?
If not, where did you install bindwood from? If you installed it from our archive, then did you...
Do any of you have the addon compatibility reporter installed?
It's quite irrepsonsible to proivde this information without also making it clear that this will prevent you from receiving any more important security updates
Hi,
You might want to update the information in the original post now (see http://www.chriscoulson.me.uk/blog/?p=100)
Thanks!
The next Lucid build *should* be successful:

I wouldn't advise sending me e-mail if you want a quick reply. My inbox is currently running at ~25000 unread, and growing daily ;)
I'm aware of the issue on Lucid (the tests hang). I'll fix it...
We're currently investigating an upgrade issue in precise which might affect upgrades for people on other releases.
Oh, I don't really miss any of those (especially the ability to customize launcher behaviour), but the aero-snap feature from 3D would be nice.
I never really noticed the lack of active blur...
What features are missing in 2D? I actually use this as my default session now, as I prefer it much more than the 3D session (I prefer the design of the dash in 2D, which is much cleaner with it's...
Well, there is a slight difference. You can report bugs from the packages in the official PPA, as we whitelist the official PPA source in apport. Reporting bugs from other PPA's will fail with a...
Hmmm, that website is wrong. The builds are available (as they always are a few days before release), but it's not offered as an upgrade to anyone except beta testers, and isn't offered as a download...
It's not released until Tuesday, so I'm not sure where you got your information from
Yep, there were 2 commits between 5.0 and 5.0.1 to fix 2 issues for Mac users only, so we didn't bother upgrading to 5.0.1. I'm surprised you got an update to 5.0.1 on Windows though, as it was only...
Yes.
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:ubuntu-mozilla-daily/ppa
sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install firefox-trunk
Or you could just use the official PPA ;)
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:mozillateam/firefox-next
Publishing is currently disabled for the firefox-next PPA because Mozilla haven't even officially released 6.0 to beta testers yet (that might happen later today). Could you please not copy these...
Not quite. It hasn't built yet, and I've turned off publishing until Mozilla push it out to their beta testers ;)
Just one thing to point out - people need to use "sudo apt-get dist-upgrade" really, so that apt pulls in the new firefox-locale- packages
firefox-next will only get beta releases, so the next one will be 6.0b1 in a couple of weeks
See the last few comments.
In any case, I've just copied Firefox 5 + all language packs, ubufox, moonlight and other system-wide extensions to the firefox-stable PPA (like, 2 minutes ago), so...
Note that we will actually try to provide updates on the day of release (and that was certainly the intention with the firefox-stable PPA). Unfortunately I've been screwed over by the lack of PPA...
You can already install the firefox build from my own PPA btw. I haven't copied it to the firefox-stable PPA yet because I'm waiting on our repacked language packs to build, which are necessary to...
Hi,
The firefox-stable PPA is going to get Firefox 5. The problem is that we've been short on PPA builders for over a week and there has been a huge backlog of packages to be built. I'm hoping...
