    On Alpha 6 jaunty it worked liked a charm. Now since a few days it is terribly slow. Even without compiz etc.

    On intrepid it runs fast.

    Jaunty runs on my laptop 1.7 GHz, Nvidia 6100 256MB...

    Mhm, 1.3 wasnt slow, but for example playin CD Audio was complicated and not well done.

    I think it had an performance boost since 1.4.1 generally. I would give it 8 of 10 points, or 9 :)...
