Won't people know it's running once they press super-space? Does it really need a splash screen? I would just assume it were running until I found out otherwise.

Perhaps the Gnome team will never accept this as an option but at least this project seems to be off to a good start and hopefully one day it will be as easy as...
I don't know if that's the reason though because KDE has this as an official option. I think the reason is, for some reason, more emotional...
...since we're on requests, I would love to be able to sudo command, for things that would run in terminal as well as things like synaptic and such.
I think he just meant that it's really not quite ready for the big time yet, there are some basic things to be done. On the other hand I use it and got it running with no bother and it's working...
Just a thought. I'm not much for making Ubuntu look like Mac OSX, don't really see the point, but I do really like the menu and would like to have it as an "official" option in gnome...and apparently...
