    You could als install GDebi, wich is a graphical installation program for .deb packages.

    You could install it using

    sudo apt-get install gdebi

    I hope this will work for you...

    You could try


    sudo apt-get autoremove google-chrome

    This will, probably, remove all the Google Chrome files and settings.
