I think you miss the point that QT has already been released as GPL (not LGPL, which is unimportant for most Linux-developers anyway) for several years now.
what do you mean: "system restore"?
- a system-repair function? if yes, specify your problem (doesn't boot anymore, etc.)
- did you delete any files you want to "undelete"?
try this:

then you should be able to access the dvd drive from Linux by going to the "Public"-directory of the mac
try "acpi" ;)

an eft is a young newt.
I use Awesome WM on Arch Linux -> pure power!
I don't use any filemanagers etc. though, i try to accomplish as much tasks as possible by using the commandline.
ok, forget what i was saying...
i don't use CD/DVDs myself anymore and don't miss them either.
Apple was the first company to quit building floppy-drives in their computers, and with the mac book air they stopped building...
probably this item: http://shop.canonical.com/product_info.php?products_id=244&osCsid=1f290d490addb0a743d6b373002dd282
what a pathetic article.
pure scaremongering. Drinking water is probably just as dangerous since even in water are some molecules of any toxic substance you can imagine.
But wait! There is...
receiving gps signals does not cost money: http://www.gps-basics.com/faq/q0112.shtml
i wouldn't pay for linux but consider donating to several open source projects.
what kind of card is it?
A simple wireless adapter or a modem?
If it's the latter, see this: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=838891
using it since 5 months and and no intentions to switch to another distribution (why should i? :))
you can ignore the warnings in this case (or use the gcc-option to make them disappear) because what you have written is what you wanted.
The "undefined reference" error though comes from the fact...
template <class T> class Example {
template <class T> friend ostream& operator << (ostream& out, const Example<T>& ex);
public:
Example(T a); //constructor
private:
T a;
};...
use the 64-bit version since the extra addressable memory is not the only advantage of 64-bit (read more on wikipedia). On a server you also probably don't want to run flashplayer, which is the only...
PAE virtualizes the memory, direct access is faster, but only available to the 64-bit versions
i use it to get a remote Secure Shell on my desktop-computer from my laptop and to encrypt file-transfers over a network.
try launching "knetworkmanager" from a terminal and see what happens (and if it fails, what the output is).
why would I? I would instead use Linux and have all that and more :)
3 diodes per pixel? sounds a little not cheap :D
