    Network manager even find eth1 device in a drop down list with correct MAC address. It creates a wired connection entry, but doesn't connect. It still displays as device not ready.

    Okay I did all as said, found all the .ko files, renamed them. Sundance wasn't on blacklist. Anyway, I rebooted with cable plugged. Here is ifconfig:

    Okay I removed the Asus card. I renamed the r8168 file, removed it from blacklist, put in the ethernet cable to realtek card (light started flashing) and rebooted.

    I typed in everything word for word (except the first line, where it said no such file or directory - modprbe.d/blacklist.conf
    I did modprobe.d/blacklist.conf

    EDIT: Please note, that I have to disconnect the ethernet cable from PC and put it in laptop, so I can actually post this. :)

    I'm not sure, if I have a Network Manager. I mean when I got to connections at the top of the screen it says Wired Network device not ready.
