  1. Re: bumblebee optirun broken after last update

I suppose all of you have mesa-10.1-devel ?

If so, you need to add PRIMUS_UPLOAD=1 in front of your command, this is an issue in current mesa-devel.
  2. [ubuntu] Re: "Connection Timed Out" when transferring about 2GB+ of data over network?

Nothing, it is already fixed upstream as said before. You just have to wait for kernel 3.8.3 or 3.9, you may also add iommu=off to your boot options as a workaround while waiting for those new...

Indeed, Bumblebee 3.0 has automatic support for Power Management. Even suspend is supported. So, installation of bumblebee is the only thing needed.

Yep, you can't consider that your computer is the same, because that's wrong.

So the calls aren't the sames.

Use either 64 or 32, both work, I personally prefer 32 as some programs are still not written for 64.

I'm also having a 15000 mW (with WiFi on, and one USB device) minimal.

That's a known kernel bug in 3.0, 3.1 and 3.2, power consumption of Intel processors is higher than it should be.

    It's...

Maybe arbrandes should remove those "references", because they are from IronHide. In bumblebee, you should only put exactly what is in the box.

About suspend, I will add your code, that is in fact...

You may remove the change to /usr/share/acpi-support/power-funcs, as the issue as been fixed upstream (it's working out of the box).

By the way, I will receive a HDMI external screen tomorrow, so...

    Enable call : echo "\_SB.PCI0.RP00.VGA._PS0" > /proc/acpi/call

For power : unplug AC cord.

    grep rate /proc/acpi/battery/BAT0/state

Should be significantly less when the card is disabled.

Yes, it's an actual bug, when you update the nvidia drivers, you have to run bumblebee-configuration again.
