Using the manual network configuration I deleted the host entries for all the ipv6 entities.

Now Firefox just fails to connect to any host.

I can nslookup, tracert and ping using ipv4...

In the network configuration I deleted all the entries for ipv6 such as ff00::0 mcastprefix and now firefox or any web browser is unable to display a web page.

I can ping hosts correctly but...

I've updated to Hardy from Dapper and still finding that Firefox 2.0.0.6 is loading despite everything saying Firefox 3 is installed.

There isn't a Java run time option under Add/Remove that I can find!

First of all it comes up as version 2.0.0.6 despite insisting that Firefox 3 has been installed.
