    Actually, after

    sudo /etc/init.d/ntop restartI get

    sudo: /etc/init.d/ntop: command not foundInstallation from Synaptic didn't take me anywhere either...

    Right, sudo helped + was missing few packages = installed

    mkdir ntop
    cd ntop
    svn co https://svn.ntop.org/svn/ntop/trunk/ntop/
    cd ntop
    ./autogen.sh

    I didn't mean the packages, i was talking about security updates etc, which pop up from update manager if you have a connection. Or i missing your point?
