I tend to agree with Oldsoundguy.. my video card failed at first on Hardy Heron after working on Gutsy Gibbon.. Compiz-check got it working. Now, I upgrade to Intrepid and everything works...

I found that if you partition out the diskl ie.
/ 10gb
/home 38gn
/tmp 10gb

When the install 'finishes' it does not create a Grub.
I tried for hours and hours, 4 installs and no way could...
